Aspire Castile Foaming Hand and Body Soap

About Aspire Castile Foaming Hand and Body Soap

Like Aspire Colorado Gold Liquid Soap, Aspire Castile Foaming Soap is made in the Castile fashion, using strong caustic and suitable oils.  We use natural ingredients that are organic, non-gmo, vegan and gluten-free.  For specifics on labelling and how the ingredients are used to make the foaming soap, please see the notes about Colorado Gold Liquid Castile Soap.  The main differences between the Colorado Gold Castile Soap and the foaming Castile soap are the solids concentration and oil blend.  Compared to an all-purpose soap, foaming soap should be thinner, so that it doesn't plug the foamer.  Also, foaming soap should be foamier than all-purpose soap, so that a tiny squirt from the foamer goes a long way.  Another important difference is that foaming soap is milder, so that it's easier on your hands and skin.  We finish our foaming soap with soothing oils that are added after the saponification reaction is complete and the soap has been diluted to final solids content.  The result is that these final oils give the skin a nice soothing finish.

As with all Aspire products, go zero waste with bulk containers and refills.

Ingredients in Aspire Castile Foaming Hand and Body Soap

  • Canola Oil.  Organic, sourced from U.S.A.  Natural, rendered from canola seeds.

  • Safflower Oil.  Organic, sourced from Mexico.  Natural, rendered from safflower seeds.

  • Coconut Oil.  Organic, sourced from the Philipines.  Natural, rendered from meat of coconut.

  • Hemp Seed Oil.  Organic, sourced from Canada.  Natural, rendered from hemp seeds.

  • Potassium Hydroxide (Caustic Potash).  Strong caustic, sourced from U.S.A.  Natural, depending on how you look at it.  Made from electrolysis of mined natural potassium chloride.

  • Glycerin.  Non-GMO, Kosher, sourced from Malaysia.  Natural, by-product of soap-making.

  • Essential Oils for Scent.  We use a variety of essential oils, as listed on our labels.  All are organic, natural ingredients that are rendered from plant parts.  It's difficult to find sources of essential oils that are made in the U.S.A., but we are continuing to work on that.  We are making some essential oils in our Golden facility from our own organically-grown plants, but they are limited in volume and don’t make up a significant portion of the essential oils used in our products.

  • Castor Oil.  Organic, source from India.  Natural, rendered from castor beans.

  • Vitamin E Oil.  Organic, sourced from USA. Natural, a blend of oils rendered from plants.

  • Marula Oil.  Organic, sourced from Namibia.  Natural, rendered from marula nuts.

  • Water.  Sourced from Golden, Colorado.  Our foaming soap is 80% water.  In Golden, we have the best water, since it flows directly down Clear Creek from its source, Saint Mary’s Glacier, high in the Rocky Mountains.  This is the same source of water used by the mighty Coors Brewery!  Also, by making the soap locally, we are saving 80% of the carbon footprint of transportation for common foaming soaps that are manufactured a great distance away, and then transported to big stores.

Ingredients That Aspire Avoids in Our Foaming Soap

The ingredients we avoid in our foaming soap are basically the same as those we avoid in our Colorado Gold liquid castile soap, so please refer to that section.
